🗓️ How to “PLAN (Q2 Scheduled)”§

Reference card – pin it at the top of the Q2 Scheduled list. Never move or archive this card; it’s your north-star for weekly planning.

1 What belongs in Q2 Scheduled 🗓️§

Rule of thumb: If the calendar drives you, it’s Q2.

2 Weekly Planning Sprint (Mon 08:45 or Fri 17:05)§

  1. Open calendar + Q1 Done/WIP side-by-side.
  2. Scan the next 7 days: drag each dated event → Q2 Scheduled.

  3. For each new Q2 card:

  4. Prefix title with the date (e.g. Thu 14:00 | Client Demo).

  5. Attach the meeting link / spec doc.
  6. Checklist sub-tasks if > 30 min prep.

  7. Capacity sanity check:

  8. Q1 Doing ≤ 3 & Q2 ≤ 7 cards total.

  9. If > 7 → push the lowest-impact ones to Q3 or negotiate.
  10. Butler button ⟳ Generate weekly rituals (runs the repeaters).
  11. Snapshot Eisenhower grid → attach to Weekly Metrics card.

3 During the week ✂️§

5 Mini-checklist (tick each Friday) ✔️§

  • Next-week calendar scanned → all events in Q2
  • Card titles prefixed with date/time
  • ≤ 7 Q2 cards total (else renegotiate)
  • Eisenhower PNG updated in Weekly Metrics
  • Butler “rituals” rerun without errors

Mantra: “Schedule protects flow.” Lock future commitments in Q2 so Q1 stays laser-thin and actionable today.
